When there's no ready-made space
Sometimes the premises market simply doesn't have a suitable space to lease, even though a workable plot or development site might exist in the right area. Forsite can act as the occupier's representative to structure a project where the location is secured for the occupier and Forsite runs a tender for a suitable investor or developer for the project. The occupier gets suitable leased premises without having to develop the project on its own balance sheet.

- The project is structuredOnce a suitable location has been found, an investor or developer is sourced for it. The tenant's negotiating position is maintained throughout the process.

- The approach suits areas without enough active project supply, but where potential plots and development sites can still be found.
Built-to-suit is an extension and additional option to a premises search. If the search area has enough project supply, an occupier-initiated plot search isn't always needed.
